A refugee is someone who has been forced to flee his or her country because of war. A refugee has a well founded fear of persecution for reasons of race political opinion or membership in a particular social group. It must be hard to be a refugee because of all the memories stuck in there heads and it must be hard moving to places.

Scooters
Scooters
One day we went to a Inward Scooters because my old scooter had rusted and had rusty bolts and broken parts. It was awesome with all the scooter parts and complete scooters around me. The scooters at the shop just showed me up.
We had money burning a hole in our pockets. So we went in. We were amazed how many parts there were and it looked different in the website than it did real life. So we got all our amazing scooter parts and we were mind blown of our parts. We were so happy. We went home and put it all together. The finishing scooter was looking amazing and colourful.
Three months later I had stopped scootering but one day I thought “my scooter!” It was time to get it out of the shed. I went racing to my mum screaming and nagging to go to the skate park. Afterwards we went in the car and we zoomed off to the skate park. After about 10 minutes we got there and I started with a tailwhip. I started just riding around and then I started doing amazing tricks like flair and other tricks. All the kids were amazed. But then time went past and it was time to go. When I jumped in the car I was sweating like a bucket of water tipped on me, but what a great day

Banana and Orange poem
Banana and Orange
Sitting in the fruit bowl
Orange and yellow
Soft and juicy
Long and round
A tasty snack
Half time boost
A cake to die for
Icy healthy thirst quencher
Burst of flavour

My bio poem
Leroy
Silly, friendly, sporty, helpful
Son of Leith and Daryl, Brother of Nate and Wyllie
Lover of fish n chips, Wontons and soccer
Owner of a crazy catch, goalkeeper gloves and a wacky soccer ball
Who admires family and rugby
Who plays soccer, rugby and cricket
Who would like to visit Australia, America, and Fiji
Who has been to Auckland, Wellington and to Queenstown
Who was born in Invercargill, and lives in Selwyn District.
Who loves the phrase: “Money doesn’t grow on trees”
